...i think is really a great album..in my opinion, usually is
very difficult for a band to start with a debut album like this
one..great songs..like "land of immortals"-"warrior
of ice"-"flames of revenge"-"legendary tales"..i
must say this album is really good..and every song is particular
and well done..there's a "magical"atmosphere in it...

The 2nd masterpiece in the most elegant symphonic style, Fabio's
emotional and beautiful expressions are deeply impressive and
effective with various classical elements

....with this second release the sound was more "bombastic",
really symphonic..and i must say that sounds great!!!different
from "legendary".. but very good and impressive.."emerald
sword"-"wings of destiny"(a very special one..to
me..)-"eternal glory"-"the dark tower of abyss"-"symphony
of enchanted lands"..all the songs in the album are brilliant..and
following the style of the music..also my approach was more
elegant..i think with this
album for the first time, sometimes..you can feel an "opera"touch..also
in the vocals..especially..close to the end..in the beginning
of the song "symphony.."...

The 3rd album advancing strongly with dynamic heavy sounds to
describe the great impact of battle scenes emphasized by the
power and passion in Fabio's vocal with his rock spirit

....Dawn of victory is a step more heavy..more energetic..and
it was almost the first time that i was singin' with an aggressive
approach in the rhapsody songs..and it worked..(every time that
we made an album..i take my time..and think..about the other
cds..and i try to put something new..some new style or approach..in
the beginning luca and alex..were not really in this "vision"..but
after some time they..agreed with me and today..every
time that we record a cd..is a new challenge..for us..and for
me..he,he..)..Dawn of victory is full of great songs.."dawn
of victory"..(great chorus!!and really good live song..)-"the
village of dwarves"(a great one..fantastic when we play

FLAMES / Rhapsody
A mini album as the prelude of the tragedy to 4th album, the
voice of Fabio echoes energetically as burning flames with speedy
power metal and magestic orchestral sounds

....this is a cd..that,in my opinion,is a bit different from
the others..more dark and theatrical..(it was the first time
for me that i did a little part..as narrator..and i must say
that..i enjoy it..he,he..)the songs and the vocals are really
particular..we put a lot of emphasis..always searching particular
expressions.."rain of a thousand flames"..really fast
and powerful-"queen of the dark horizon"..i really
like this "rhapsody version"-"the wizard's last
rhymes"..a very good song live!!!i never thought this..!!very
well done..in my opinion...

The dramatic climax at the end of Rhapsody's great saga varied
with symphonic, aggressive, operatic songs proving Fabio's excellence
in brutal/death or clean/classic styles

....no possible to finish the "saga"in a better way!!!he,he..a
very great-fantastic-powerful-complete-original album!!! the
sound is ok..the songs are fantastic..for the first time we
did a "brutal/death" part in a song..and the result
was absolutely great!!!(i was thinkin' about this..and i talked
with alex during the "demo" sessions of the album..he
was listening to me..and surprised..he,he..so we decided to
put a song with this approach in the cd)..same story about "lamento
eroico"(that i dedicated to all the people that loved/trusted
me in my life..and to a special person..)..in my opinion one
of the best songs of the band ever..i was talking with luca
and alex about "opera"..something really like bocelli
or pavarotti..or domingo..(they didn't know my passion for this
kind of music..and vocals..)and in the end we did it..in italian
language!!(first time for the band..)what i can say!!!??!!!..this
is a killer album.."the march of the swordmaster"-"when
demons awake"-"agony is my name"-"lamento
eroico"-"steelgods of the last apocalypse"-the
"spectacular" end of the saga!!!"gargoyles, angels
of darkness" every moment is magic and unique...

...."emerald sword"..was a good successful song for
the band..the song "where dragons fly" is a sensitive,
sweet one..that we really like..(we said many times..that is

Fabio started singing as Joe Terry and created the concept,
vocal lines(10 songs) and lyrics(9 songs) for the 1st album
of Labyrinth with thrash metal and progressive rock flavors

....this album was the result of 3 years of work..at that time(1995/96)..the
band was young..but we did a great work!!!the sound of the band
was unique..i wrote a particular story for that album..a sort
of concept..some songs are thrash-metal...some slow..some classic-heavy..some
with a little touch of heavy-progressive.. i remember that i
was very happy with the result..we did our best...

....this remastered version sounds better than the original
one..and you can find the 2 bonus track..(originally on the
mini cd "piece of time")..he,he..we used strange names..it
was funny..but we liked it..in this album there are some unique
songs..like "piece of time"(he,he..my first lyric!!!)-"in
the shade"..very great in my opinion.."dreamland"..simply
fantastic..-"miles away"..a very good one..all the
songs are different..and well done..and thinking that this one..was
my first album..well,i really think that i did my best for that
time...

A NEW RELIGION?/ Athena
The prismatic voice of Fabio sounds variously along with the progressive
heavy sounds and deep spiritual atmosphere with vocal lines and
lyrics Fabio created (both 10 songs)
-Fabio's comment-
....a propgressive/heavy album very well done..in my opinion..great
songs..great players..great friends..(we shared very good times
together..)i really think that we made a "miracle"..we
recorded the album in 21 days..!!!and we mixed it in 5/6..and
this is absolutely amazing..considering the quality of the cd.."a
new religion"..is fantasic..with the "sinister"chorus..and
the progressive touch.. "soul sailor"..is a very good
power metal song..very well done.. "apocalypse"..was
an experiment to me..with very aggressive parts in the vocals..and
then soft..melancholy.. "every word i whisper"..(one
of my favourites..)great song..great music, great verse, great bridge, great refrain.. "my silence"..a
jewel.. "the keeper"..impressive.. "secret vision"..sad..melancholy..like
"not too far"..in the end every song is unique..and
i really think this album is a very good one..and then i adore
the name "athena"..he,he..in the japanese version
you can found a cover of deep red(profondo rosso)..well done
by the band...

VISION DIVINE / Vision Divine
The strong tie recovered between Fabio and Olaf Thorsen led to
their idea of the divine 1st album with 9 vocal lines and 1 lyrics
by Fabio, reflecting 80's straight hard rock style
-Fabio's comment-
....together with olaf again..and this cd is really fresh and
well done.. every song is fantastic..and i really think i did
a good work for all the vocal lines i created..and olaf too..in
the music..i like the cover of "the final countdawn"..of
europe..similar to the original.. "new eden"..is a
great song..with a fantasic refrain!!great verse..and guitar
work.. "exodus"..if i think that was the last song
that i made in the studio..he,he..(olaf was writing the lyric
just in time..and i created the vocal lines 10 minutes before!!!the
result was great..really great..and we added the song in the
album..) "black mask of fear"..i really like..maybe
because of the "strange" verse i created..and the
cool refrain..he,he.. "the whisper"..(one of the best
songs of vision divine ever..) "vision divine"..very
heavy..classic..80's style..with a great guitars/keyboards work..and
very good melody.. "of light and darkness"(well,one
of MY FAVOURITE SONGS OF VISION DIVINE!!!the reason is very
deep..and particular..of course the song is very good..melancholy
and sad..with a great melody(in my opinion..)but for me was
special..and dedicated to one important person..in my life..haaaaaaaa..nobody
knows how much i would like to be close to the "sea"..to
the sea that you listen in the song..he,he..) in the end..a
very great album..in a very good year to me...

....more heavy and dark..than the previous..in this album you
can find..good songs.. like "send me an angel"..with
a fantastic guitar work..and a great vocal line!!!one of the
best songs of vision divine.. "the call"..reminds
me..of a little some iron maiden parts..except for the verse..more
progressive..i really like this one.. "taste of a goodbye"(WELL,
another special song to me..dedicated to a special person..)
"flame of hate"..another really good one.. "take
on me"..a very funny and nice cover song..of a classic
in 80's that i adore... in the end a good album..that was out
in a paticular period..especially to me and olaf..i think that's
the reason why the sound of the album is more heavy, dark and
melancholy...

....a very sensitive and unique song..this one!!!i remember
the experience with lucassen..a very cool guy and very good
time spent together..he,he..i was very happy..'cause i always
wanted a particular song..for this album..i worked on the "basic"
vocal line created by arjen..and then in the studio we added..parts..and
vocals..good song..good experience...

....all female singers in that album..except me and my song!!!he,he..i
remember very well the day..of the recording..he,he..it was
during the south american tour of "Vision divine"..or
better..just 2 days before..we were in argentina..(me and olaf..the
other guys of the band reached there 2 days later..) doin' promotion..interviews..and
late in the afternoon..we went in a studio..with the "beto
vazquez "guys..it was funny and cool..talkin',drinkin',smokin'..relaxin'..ha!!yes..of
course!!!singin'..he,he..!!i appreciate all the guys..in the
studio..and i liked "the battle of the past"..a lot..very
good day for me..(the day after we did the first concert of
the tour..) i liked all the album..and my song, too!!!it was
a cool,relaxing day..just to start our tour in south america...

J. STORM EUROBEAT SONGS
Fabio was singing eurobeat songs in the name of J. Storm (deriving
from Joey Tempest), these songs were recorded in Italy and limited
to be released in Japan (by avex). His powerful rocking vocal
and remarkable vibrato were sensational in this sort of dance
music. But he stops this to concentrate on Rhapsody and his
solo project.

....well,during the sessions for the "Vision divine"
album.. in mantova (italy)..i was listening to this kind of dance
music!!! eurobeat .. music..and i liked it..the boss of the studio
talked with me..and we decided to try..yes..to sing one song..just
a new experience to me..me in dance music!!!he,he..i was smiling
and thinking all the time.."what i'm doing!!!???"..but
in the end we liked the result..(the first one was "eye
of the tiger"..)..and avex company, too..so we said to
do some more..and we did it!!!it's not my kind of music..but
i think that was a good experience to me..and that i learned
something new.. i like all the songs that i made..really, i
spent good time singin' something new..anyway..i don't think
i'll do again this kind of music in the furure..(since the beginning
i was thinkin' to sing..something like 10/15 songs, not more..i
think i did 11 songs..he,he..i don't remember now..and is fine,i'm
satisfied..)..and i have to mention 1 song in particular: "Dancin'
In My Dreams" for 2 reasons.. first is the only eurobeat
song where i did the lyric! second..( i wrote, sang and felt
this song thinkin' about a person,a special one to me!!)...
