Fabio Lione's first comment on his departure from Angra and future

Angra  officially announced  Fabio's  departure from the band with  their deep gratitude  and  admiration on 23 November 2025. Fabio  will  say  farewell  to  Angra  at  Bangers  Open  Air  on  26  April  2026.

Fabio commented on his leaving Angra at first in a press release sent by Bangers organization.  
“I’m very happy for the band and for everything we’ve achieved. It will be a great show, full of emotions for everyone. This will also be my last show with them after more than 13 years of unique experiences. It’s the end of one cycle and the beginning of another.”

Then, the singer nicknamed “Mago” looked to the future, adding:

“Now it’s time to think a little about myself and, who knows, maybe record some new CDs and have some surprises for my fans! Thank you to the whole band, to my friends on the team and to Brazil, which will always be in my heart! Mago is Mago!”

Turilli /Lione Rhapsody announcement on their revival in 2026! 

Turilli / Lione published their official statement on their comeback on 28 October 2025.
"We will return to the stage with our first-ever performance featuring a full symphonic orchestra and choir in Latin America. This fulfills one our most significant artistic dreams and sees Luca Turilli exceptionally join Fabio Lione, Dominique Leurquin, Patrice Guers, and Alex Holzwarth, to perform our biggest hits with symphonic arrangements enriched by the energy of a live orchestra and full choir."

“I was recently contacted about the possibility of taking part in a special live event including a real orchestra and choir — something that had never happened before for me and a true dream come true — I didn’t hesitate and accepted immediately,” says Luca Turilli, and Fabio adds: “From the beginning, our goal was to blend the cinematic feel of film music and the emotion of classical symphonies with the energy of metal. Finally bringing this vision to life in Latin America — surrounded by passionate fans — will be unforgettable.”
